Top Three Myths About Wedding Coordinator Duties

Whether perhaps due to Hollywood stereotypes or general misconceptions which have built up over the years, wedding coordinators have a lot of pressure on them when their clients, guests, or other event partners think certain duties have gone neglected because it was “duty” of the wedding coordinator to perform these duties.

Let’s set the record straight right here and now: a solid, experienced professional coordinator can take care of as much or as little as is contracted- but always has every duty to be performed outlined in writing in contract form in advance. (more…)

How To Help Protect Wedding Gifts at the Wedding

While proper etiquette states that gifts should not be brought to the wedding, but instead shipped to the bride and groom in advance (or up to one year after the wedding), we still see our fair share of gifts and envelopes brought to weddings. So much so, we make sure there is a table or space at the sign-in area for those well-intentioned guests who schlep their offering to the wedding and create one more task for the couple to have to deal with post-wedding.  Bless them.
